Constituency
GARR-CERT is the Computer Emergency Response Team for
GARR,
the Italian Academic and Research Network.
It deals with computer and network
security incidents.
The constituency of GARR-CERT are the institutions connected to
GARR Network.
Goals
- To help users in the handling of security incidents.
- To coordinate the handling of security incidents, following their
developments.
- To disseminate information about vulnerabilities and recommended
security measures.
- To test and develop security tools.
The incident handling procedure
was approved by GARR-OTS on the 20/12/1999 and modified on the 23/1/2007.
