GARR-CERT

Constituency

GARR-CERT is the Computer Emergency Response Team for GARR, the Italian Academic and Research Network.
It deals with computer and network security incidents.

The constituency of GARR-CERT are the institutions connected to GARR Network.

Goals

To help users in the handling of security incidents.
To coordinate the handling of security incidents, following their developments.
To disseminate information about vulnerabilities and recommended security measures.
To test and develop security tools.

The incident handling procedure was approved by GARR-OTS on the 20/12/1999 and modified on the 23/1/2007.
